Volunteers play a vital role at Henry Street Settlement. Each year more than 1,000 individuals participate in individual and corporate volunteer activities at Henry Street's 17 locations in New York City.
Some volunteers have been a part of the Henry Street community since childhood. Others are young professionals, college students, and parents who contribute valuable time and resources as tutors, computer programmers, youth mentors, job coaches, mural painters, field trip leaders, care givers to the homebound or indigent, and more.
Corporate Groups
Among our dedicated volunteers are several hundred employees from local corporations who lend a hand during organized, daylong projects at a Henry Street program facility. Corporations wishing to participate in a volunteer day or special project should click here to request more information.
Individual Volunteers
