The Workforce Development Center (WDC) offers customized staffing services to assist employers in hiring and retaining qualified entry- and mid-level workers.
WDC offers the following services to employers free of charge:
- targeted recruitment and screening
- customized job candidate referral process
- assistance with drafting of job descriptions
- business-to-business referrals
- placement of interns and volunteers
- human resources information where relevant
- employee mediation where appropriate
- use of interview space/facilities
- job retention services to employees
To date, WDC has developed relationships with more than 400 employers in the New York City area. WDC understands that employers play a critical role in our mission to assist job-seekers on their path to self-sufficiency and has the goal to develop long-lasting relationships with employers that value their workforce and have quality opportunities.
