Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social service, arts, and health care programs.
After-School at Manhattan Charter School 2 is located at the Corlears Educational Complex, at 220 Henry Street serving students from kindergarten to 5th grade. Manhattan Charter School 2 is a fee based academic support program providing small group home work assistance daily. Similar to our other elementary after-school programs, after homework is completed, our participants engage in a number of enrichment activities that include visual arts, structured recreation, community awareness, and character development. Our mission is to help every one of our students grow in a safe, fun, and productive environment. Program runs Monday through Friday, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. We follow the Manhattan Charter School calendar and even offer extended services on half days.
