Richard Maxwell Debuts Vision Disturbance

From September 1-18, recent Guggenheim Fellowship recipient Richard Maxwell directs Christina Masciotti’s new play about a woman who loses her husband — and the vision in one of her eyes. With great empathy for her characters, Masciotti’s new play conveys with much passion that remarkable transformation is possible.

New Exhibits Open in the Abrons Galleries

AMPLIFY: Creative and Sustainable Lifestyles in the Lower East Side is an exhibition of sustainable community design in downtown Manhattan, created by students at the Design for Social Innovation and Sustainability Research Lab (DESIS Lab) at Parsons the New School for Design. The second exhibit, Beth Livensperger's Visible Storage, is a painting series depicting reflections on glass or other surfaces.

Registration is now open for fall classes at the Abrons. Our superb training program offers classes for all ages and skill levels in dance, music, theater, and the visual arts.
