ARTS CAMP
A Five-Week Program for Children 6-12
June 28-July 30, 2010
Mondays-Fridays | 9 am-5 pm

Camp highlights include:

  • daily instruction in dance, music, theater, and the visual arts
  • classes taught by professional teaching-artists
  • weekly speciality workshops and performances presented by visiting guest artists
  • weekly field trips to major NYC cultural institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art and the American Folk Art Museum
  • weekly swimming sessions at the neighborhood pool
  • a culminating original musical theater performance presented by the campers in the Abrons’ historic Playhouse on the last day of camp

Early Bird Camp Registration through April 17, 2010
Early Bird Arts Camp Fee: $900

Regular Camp Registration: April 20-May 29, 2010
Arts Camp Fee: $1,000

10% discount for returning campers. 10% discount for families with two or more children registering for the camp. Total camp costs must be paid by May 31, 2009. There are no refunds after July 2, 2010.


ARCHITECTURE CAMP
A Two-Week Program for Children 9-12
August 2-13, 2010
Mondays-Fridays | 9 am-5 pm

Camp highlights include:

  • daily instruction in sketching, drawing, model making, architectural styles, and materials
  • team based-projects designing buildings, play areas, and entry-ways
  • camp led by profession teaching-architect
  • weekly field trips to sites of architectural interest such as Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station, the Chrysler Building, and Central Park
  • weekly swimming sessions at the neighborhood pool
  • a culminating party and camper presentation on the last day of camp

Early Bird Camp Registration through April 17, 2010
Early Bird Architecture Camp Fee: $450

Regular Camp Registration: April 20May 29, 2010
Architecture Camp Fee: $500

BROADWAY LAB
A Four-Week Program for Teens 13-18
June 28-July 23, 2010
Mondays-Fridays | Noon-4 pm

Integrated Arts Program includes:

  • daily intensive instruction in dance, singing, and acting
  • ensemble classes taught by profession teaching-actors
  • Master classes and meet-and-greets with Broadway artists
  • Wednesday afternoon field trip to a current Broadway musical
  • culminating showcase performance on the last day of the lab

Early Bird Registration through April 17, 2010
Early Bird Fee: $700

Regular Registration: April 20-May 29, 2010
Lab Fee: $750

10% discount for families with two or more teens registering for the lab. Total lab cost must be paid by May 31, 2009. There are no refunds after July 2, 2010.
