The Abrons Arts Center provides students in grades Pre-K through 12 with experiential classroom-based programs in the visual, performing, literary, and media arts through our Arts-in-Education (AIE) division. The AIE team of educators and teaching artists collaborates with schools and cultural partners to develop classroom and extended day arts residencies that support and enhance core curricula, and are aligned with the NY State Learning Standards for the Arts and the NYC Department of Education’s Blueprint for Teaching and Learning in the Arts.

Each year, the AIE program serves thousands of students, families, and teachers through the following programs:
