Henry Street Settlement is a non-profit organization that relies on the generous contributions of supporters to deliver its services effectively. Each year, the agency spends 90% of its $36 million budget in direct service to families living in poverty.
Henry Street keeps contributors apprised of its programs and activities with an Annual Report, print newsletter, monthly e-News, and regularly updated website. Donors are also invited to visit the Settlement so that they may see first hand how their generosity translates into good work for Lower East Side families and individuals.
Henry Street Settlement has a written donor privacy policy in place, which states unambiguously that it will not sell, trade or share a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations unless the donor has given specific permission to do so.
