The Henry Street Settlement is a non-profit organization that relies on the generous monetary and time contributions of supporters to operate and provide its services effectively. Not everyone has the ability to contribute the same way, so the Settlement offers a variety of opportunities for interested individuals to get involved in assisting the Lower East Side community.

Henry Street to Volunteers: We Appreciate All You Do!

Henry Street volunteers, staff members and others filled the Abrons Arts Center on April 28^th for the annual Henry Street Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony.

Each year, nearly 1,000 people volunteer their time at Henry Street, either under the umbrella of corporate volunteer programs or individually. They host holiday parties, carnivals for children, paint classrooms and work with seniors, among other important volunteer efforts. MORE >>
