Each year the Henry Street Settlement receives inquiries from various New York City high schools, colleges and universities for internship opportunities. The Settlement also serves as a training site for at least eight different New York schools and universities of social work and masters programs in counseling, nursing and occupational therapy. These partnerships not only provide positive experiences for the students in the community, but also add an enormous benefit to the agency’s diverse clients.
