The Workforce Development Center offers employment services. All of our activities are designed to provide community members with opportunities to improve skills, focusing on employment as a goal. We give clients the resources and tools they need to assist them in finding and keeping a job.
From the first day a client joins our program, we start helping to find a job, begin a more advanced training program, or enroll in classes. We continue working with the client until he or she finds a job. The length of the program depends on the participant. Interested job seekers should visit the Workforce Development Center to complete an application and receive an invitation to our weekly orientations.
Participants who complete our Job Readiness Training or ESL Job Training work with a professional staff of employment counselors and job developers to seek and retain meaningful employment.

Job Readiness Training |
| Our introductory training will help you design a plan for success and increase your confidence. You will also create or improve your resume, practice interviewing skills and learn successful techniques for finding jobs. This training runs in two-week cycles offered at least once a month. |
English as a Second Language (ESL) Job Training |
| We also offer an ESL version of our introductory training as a 10-week course. The course will help you design a plan for success and increase your confidence while learning English. The classes are for intermediate to advanced English speakers who are looking for work. When you come to the orientation, we will give you a language assessment to see if you are ready for the course. |
