All HSE/GED preparation courses are being taught onsite at 178 Broome Street.

Henry Street’s Adult Literacy Program prepares adults age 18 and above to take the GED exam.

Three levels of classes are offered: Adult Basic Education, Pre-HSE and HSE. Each class prepares students in math, reading, and writing. All participants take an assessment test so they are placed in the proper class.

Free classes are offered weekday mornings and afternoons, both onsite and virtually.

Community members are invited to enroll in person at the Workforce Development Center (178 Broome Street, 3rd Floor) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or can call 646.872.4446.
