Youth in Unity at P.S. 110

Youth In Unity at P.S. 110, nestled under the Williamsburg Bridge at 285 Delancey Street, is one of the city’s oldest standing schools and Henry Street’s longest-running after-school collaboration. We are a fee based program open Monday- Friday from 2:40 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The weekly fees for the program go toward providing quality staff, capable of leading exciting activities. This program serves children in kindergarten through fifth grade, providing a snack, homework assistance, individual and group counseling, and a diverse menu of recreational and enrichment activities.

Youth in Unity’s “Friday Club” model allows participants to create their own program on Fridays, giving them more activities to explore and friendships to forge. At the end of each cycle, the participants come together to share their explorations around the general themes and in their Friday Clubs, thereby developing public speaking skills, active listening skills and the ability to reflect on their experiences while sharing them with others.
