Event Description: Help keep the gardens at Henry Street’s historic locations beautiful for the enjoyment of our clients and the community with gardening activities that can include planting, weeding, mowing, pruning, and soil aeration

Location: One of our six public gardens all located on the Lower East Side

Preferred Dates/Times: April-October, Morning or Afternoon

Number of Volunteers: 5-15

Suggested Sponsorship: $300+

Beautification Project 

Event Description: Some of our community spaces in our shelters, youth centers, and other programs can use a little TLC. We are looking for volunteers to help organize, decorate, and use their creative eye to help brighten up the space. 

Location: Various Henry Street Lower East Side program locations 

Preferred Dates/Times: Flexible 

Number of Volunteers: 10-20

Suggested Sponsorship: $1,000+
