Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs.
Henry Street Settlement deeply mourns our beloved friend, board member of 52 years, and fierce champion of our mission, Richard Abrons, who, with his family, made transformative contributions to the Settlement and to New York City.

Campaign for Boys & Girls Republic (BGR):
BGR Needs You
Boys & Girls Republic (BGR) is a Henry Street Settlement youth community center that has served tens of thousands of Lower East Side young people since the 1930s with afterschool, sports, and summer camps. It is a refuge, a place of growth, and a symbol of community connectedness. That’s why we are launching the Campaign for BGR to ensure its future. Your donation will help us keep the lights on, the balls bouncing, and the kids learning. Learn more, watch our video, and donate now here.
