Jacob Riis Cornerstone (JRC) Evening and Weekend Programs

Free activities like cooking and martial arts classes, monthly trips, boxing, music, tech activities, podcasting, professional development opportunities, and more for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults. Visit JRC at 80 Avenue D weekdays between 6-10 p.m. and Saturdays between 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to learn more and meet with a Cornerstone team member. View more »

Flag Football at Sol Lain Playground

The long-running Sol Lain Flag Football League offers flag football on Saturday mornings for local boys and girls ages 9 to 14. The League meets at Sol Lain Playground and play on Edward Garcia Field, named in memory of the beloved neighborhood activist, former president of the Vladeck Houses Tenants Association, and member of Community Board 3, Eddie Garcia.
