Our Youth Services include academic and mental health support, sports and recreation, art, and more for residents of the Lower East Side and beyond!
  • Afterschool Programs

    We offer nurturing afterschool programs at Boys & Girls Republic, Jacob Riis Cornerstone, and multiple LES public schools.

  • Athletics & Community Enrichment Services

    We provide a wide variety of athletic, arts, and other afterschool and evening programs for New York City youth.

  • College Services

    A comprehensive eight-year program to ensure that high school students are college-ready and admitted to a college that fits their interests and abilities.

  • Youth Opportunity Hub

    Educational, employment, recreational, and social services for young people age 10 to 24.

  • Boys & Girls Republic

    A youth community center that has served tens of thousands of Lower East Side young people since the 1930s.

  • Jacob Riis Cornerstone

    Provides engaging, high-quality, year-round programs for children, young adults, and adults (5-21).

  • Urban Youth Theatre

    A laboratory for teens at Abrons Arts Center. Each year the company performs a season of originally devised works and re-interpretations of classical texts.

  • Youth Employment

    Career development for young adults ages 14 to 24.

  • On Ramps to Opportunities

    Career development for young adults including job-readiness support and connections to training and education.

  • School-Based Mental Health Clinics

    Eliminates barriers that prevent children and families from seeking mental health care by providing services on-site in schools.

  • Community Schools

    Free afterschool and holiday programming–including help with academics, arts activities, recreation, & more–at four Lower East Side schools.
